“Everything begins with a sunrise, but it’s how we navigate our days before the sun sets that truly matters”

As a little girl, I believed the sun rose and set with my mother, her love radiating warmth and light. Her smile could brighten any room, and everyone who met her felt that glow.
I’m here to help children feel understood and safe, giving them the tools they need to grow into confident adults.
My goal is to uncover their strengths, support their challenges, and empower families with practical strategies that create lasting change.
My mother was my biggest cheerleader.
She left little notes of encouragement everywhere—a sweet “I love you” in my lunch or a playful compliment on the toilet paper roll. Her passion and spontaneity filled our lives with joy, yet they also created wide chasms of uncertainty. I often found myself balancing her moods, stepping into the role of caretaker during her flights of fancy, which sometimes led to precarious situations.
In contrast, my father was a steady presence, a man of few words but unwavering support. He longed to connect with me but lacked the tools to bridge the gap.
As I’ve navigated the complexities of my childhood, I’ve developed a deep desire to help other children who feel misunderstood and alone.
I want every child to grow up with a sense of stability and the reassurance that it’s okay to be exactly who they are.
When I became a mother, I found myself without a clear roadmap. My child was unique, and despite my background in child development, I often felt overwhelmed and isolated. This experience sparked a journey of advocacy and support, where I drew upon my training as a behavior analyst and psychologist to create accommodations tailored for her. Together, we forged our own path, continuously evaluating whether activities and environments nurtured her growth and confidence. Homeschooling became a vital part of our journey, allowing us to choose experiences that aligned with her interests. Through this process, I learned firsthand the challenges of maintaining consistent behavioral supports, which deepened my empathy for the parents I work with.
As a result, my daughter has flourished, experiencing a strong sense of stability, safety, and validation in our home.
My parenting journey also led us through a complex medical landscape, as both my daughters and I carry a rare genetic mutation that causes diabetes. For over twenty years, I felt like I didn’t quite fit the typical mold of a type 1 diabetic, and while a proper diagnosis has been helpful, we still face challenges with specialists who often don’t understand our unique needs. Navigating the daily mental and physical impacts of diabetes has taught us the importance of education and advocacy in securing proper care.
I believe my experiences uniquely position me to support the clients I work with.
I am passionate about helping parents who feel lost and unsure of how to support their children. I want to reach those who, like my father, long to connect with their kids but struggle to find the right approach. My goal is to meet parents where they are and guide them toward deeper connection and understanding.
